A New Chapter for Danny — And Meet the Mien Hair Team

From all of us at Mien — Danny, you rock. Here’s to the next chapter.

After nearly a decade at Mien, Danny will be finishing with us on 4 November to take some well-earned time out, reset and consider what comes next.

Until then, he’ll be right here doing what he does best — looking after his clients — and helping make the transition to another stylist feel easy and personal.

Danny has told us how proud he is of the team at Mien right now, and we couldn’t agree more. There’s an incredible amount of talent under one roof — from decades of cutting and colour expertise to some seriously exciting emerging talent. Different strengths, different personalities and different approaches to hair, but one very strong team.

For Danny’s clients, he’ll be very happy to personally recommend who he thinks will be the best fit for you. He knows your hair, he knows the team, and in many cases he’ll know exactly who to suggest.

For those with appointments booked beyond 4th November, our reception team will also be in touch personally to help make the move to your next stylist seamless.

So… who might that be?

One of the things we’re particularly proud of at Mien is just how much talent and experience now sits within our hair team.

There’s Simon, Mien co-founder and an exceptional cutter with more than 30 years behind the chair, who is looking forward to spending more time with clients on the floor.

Dejan brings serious technical cutting and styling expertise. Clare combines nearly two decades of international experience with her role as an Aveda Ambassador Educator. Wani is our award-winning cut-and-colour specialist, while Lee brings 15 years of beautifully considered Aveda colour.

Then there’s the next generation: Ghili, technically driven and obsessed with improving his craft; June, with a growing strength in precision and creative cutting; and Kleida, whose territory is gloss, movement, natural colour and a seriously good blow-dry.

They’re very different hairdressers — and that’s exactly the point.
